The Chicago Building Energy Use Benchmarking Ordinance calls on existing municipal, commercial, and residential buildings larger than 50,000 square feet to track whole-building energy use, report to the City annually, and verify data accuracy every three years. The law, which phases in from 2014-2017, covers less than 1% of Chicago’s buildings, which account for approximately 20% of total energy used by all buildings. For more details, including ordinance text, rules and regulations, and timing, please visit www.CityofChicago.org/EnergyBenchmarking
The ordinance authorizes the City to share property-specific information with the public, beginning with the second year in which a building is required to comply.

Preference boundaries for selected charter schools in the Chicago Public Schools district for school year 2019-2020. As opposed to elementary or high school attendance boundaries wherein each residing student is entitled to attend, charter boundaries simply serve as a guide for charter school administrators to use during the application/lottery process. Applicants residing within a specific boundary are generally given preference over applicants residing outside of the boundary.

List of sites that guarantee specific, non-flu vaccines will be in-stock and available for the time period indicated in each record. For flu shot locations, go to https://data.cityofchicago.org/Health-Human-Services/Flu-Shot-Locations-2014-Present/w3hg-pyhz.
Note for using this dataset that it is always recommended that individuals contact their healthcare provider or closest pharmacy to check on vaccine availability prior to walking in for vaccination. Each vaccine has a filtered view showing only records from that vaccine and blank filter conditions that can be used to filter further by time. These filtered views can be used for almost all purposes as if they were datasets, although any additional criteria added by a user would need to be saved to a new filtered view in order to use it in this manner. This dataset approximately follows https://github.com/codeforamerica/flu-shot-spec/blob/master/data-format.csv and is designed for use by https://github.com/tkompare.
For more information about CDPH Vaccines/Shots/Immunizations, go to https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/depts/cdph/provdrs/health_protection_and_response/svcs/immunization1.html.

OUTDATED. See the current data at https://data.cityofchicago.org/d/kjav-iyuj -- Special Service Areas (SSA) boundaries in Chicago. The Special Service Area program is a mechanism used to fund expanded services and programs through a localized property tax levy within contiguous industrial, commercial and residential areas. The enhanced services and programs are in addition to services and programs currently provided through the city. SSA-funded projects could include, but are not limited to, security services, area marketing and advertising assistance, promotional activities such as parades and festivals, or any variety of small scale capital improvements that could be supported through a modest property tax levy. The data can be viewed on the Chicago Data Portal with a web browser. However, to view or use the files outside of a web browser, you will need to use compression software and special GIS software, such as ESRI ArcGIS (shapefile) or Google Earth (KML or KMZ).
